On September 8, 1923, seven destroyers of the U.S. Navy were shipwrecked
off the Coast of California near Point Honda.
There have been a lot of words written about The Tragedy at Honda.
Most of them deal with the ships, the Navy and statistics.
Stories of the heroic people who contributed to the success of
saving lives, providing confidence and encouragement, in many cases
have not been told. It is hoped that some of those stories will
be revealed in this book.
